Position Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Producer who will also take on service responsibilities within our agency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and client relationship management within the insurance industry. This role requires a strong understanding of P&C insurance products, exceptional communication skills, and a dedication to delivering outstanding service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Client Acquisition:
- Prospect and generate new business through various channels such as networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify clients’ insurance requirements and provide appropriate coverage solutions.
- Present insurance proposals to prospective clients and guide them through the purchasing process.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and exceeded.
- Conduct regular policy reviews and offer proactive advice on coverage options and updates.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to foster retention and obtain referrals.
- Service and Policy Administration:
- Handle incoming inquiries from clients regarding policy changes, claims, billing inquiries, and general service needs.
- Process policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to resolve client issues and ensure timely resolution of service requests.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies in all client interactions and transactions.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management systems.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Proven experience in insurance sales and client service, preferably in a brokerage or agency setting.
- Strong knowledge of P&C insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using insurance agency management systems and other relevant software.
